Dave S. Anderson holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Western Ontario and is a graduate of the Franz Schubert Institute in Baden bei Wien, Austria. He is the Associate Conductor of the National Boychoir of Canada, and the founding Director of A Few Good Men, a choral program for boys and young men ages 6-29 which proudly operates as part of Oakville Choir for Children and Youth (formerly Oakville Children's Choir). In recent years, Dave has served as Assistant Conductor with the Exultate Chamber Singers in Toronto, the Mississauga Festival Choir and the Mississauga Festival Chamber Choir. He is a two-time nominee of the Leslie Bell Prize for Choral Conducting, a bi-annual award presented by the Ontario Arts Council.

When he isn't conducting, Dave is a Youth Motivational Speaker, and the co-founder of My Life Online: Teaching Kids To Be Safe, Smart, & Kind Online. Since 2011, he has given more than 1100 live presentations to more than 225,000 students in elementary and middle schools across North America.

NOTE: Dave will be on sabbatical from IMC for the 2020 season, as he will be on tour with A Few Good Men and the National Boychoir of Canada in St. John's, Newfoundland.
