Carlie is grateful for years of performing across Europe and Canada. She studied at the University of Toronto and at Zürich Hochschule der Künste with Radovan Vlatković before embarking on an international career. A founding member of the Alpine Sisters, an all-female alphorn ensemble, she has performed with the Zürich Opera House, served as Principal Horn of the State Opera Stara Zagora (Bulgaria) and Concerto Budapest (Hungary), and played Second Horn with the Slovak Philharmonic. Her work at Synchron Stage Vienna can be heard on major film and television soundtracks, including The Rings of Power, Mission: Impossible, and His Dark Materials. Now the tenured Second Horn of the National Ballet of Canada, she is happy to be back in Canada and excited to be returning to IMC for a great week music making!
