IMC Jazz

IMC Jazz

Jazz Ensembles & Combos: Campers meet daily in both large and small groups to dive into the essentials of jazz performance. Together, you'll explore tuning, balance, blend, articulation, and the core elements of a variety of jazz styles all while developing your skills in jazz improvisation. Campers are placed in ensembles that match their ability so everyone has a great time at IMC! Master classes are held each day with our outstanding faculty. Master classes give campers the chance to learn directly from experienced jazz musicians. Depending on the instructor, one-on-one coaching may also be available.

Faculty concerts happen each night, our world-class jazz faculty take the stage, giving campers the chance to hear inspiring live performances up close.

Jam sessions with your friends happen every evening! Join an open space where campers can play for (and with) their peers, experiment with new ideas, and share their love of jazz.
