There are daily technique classes on your instrument, a daily performance by the faculty with lots of performance tips and stories about the rock world… a really amazing experience!

Each day you'll dive into technique classes tailored to your instrument, learn performance tips and hear backstage stories straight from the pros and watch daily concerts by our amazing faculty for nonstop inspiration.

It's not just camp—it's a full-on rock experience you'll never forget!

    When you're not making music, camp is packed with awesome activities! Spend your afternoons on the water sailing, swimming, waterskiing or tubing. Or you can stay on land for beach volleyball, tennis, basketball, tetherball, Gaga Ball, and even mini-golf. The fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Get ready for campfires, a corn roast, talent shows, movie nights, and all the classic camp traditions that make summer unforgettable.

    ROCK GUITARIST / BASSISTS:

    Please Ensure that all of your equipment is labeled with your full name to limit lost items!

    Must Bring:

    • Your instrument
    • Amplifier (practice size or something easily carryable is recommended)
    • 1 / 4” instrument (patch) cable

    Recommended:

    • Guitar strap
    • Extra set of strings
    • Extra guitar picks
    • Guitar tuner

    Optional:

    • Effect pedals/pedalboards

    ROCK DRUMMERS

    Please ensure that all of your equipment is labeled with your full name, including drum shells, cymbals and stands, throne, and any protective cases/bags, to limit lost items!

    Must Bring:

    • Your drum kit (with all hardware and cymbals you need)
    • Drum sticks

    Recommended:

    • Drum head tuning key

    If you do not own a drum kit, please contact emerson@campimc.ca to coordinate the rental and transportation of an electronic drum kit through Long & McQuade Musical Instruments.

    Please note that drum kits brought to camp by campers (whether owned or rented) will be used in rehearsal spaces only. All drummers will perform on a professional quality acoustic drum kit on the Rock Stage each night.

    ROCK KEYBOARDISTS

    Must Bring:

    • Your keyboard (and stand)
    • Amplifier (practice size or something easily carryable is recommended)
    • 1 / 4” instrument (patch) cable (to connect to your amplifier)

    ROCK VOCALISTS:

    It is recommended to bring your own microphone and XLR microphone cable to camp. Speakers for amplification will be provided in your rehearsal space. Please ensure that your microphone is labeled with your full name.

    If you are unable to do so, a credit card number must be provided prior to camp for a deposit of $150.00 for a microphone and cable to be provided by IMC. This deposit will be credited back to your credit card upon the return of the microphone and cable prior to departing camp.

  • Cabin Requests
    • Campers are assigned to cabins with other campers of similar age and program.
    • f you and your friends want to be in the same cabin, please indicate this on the registration form, when asked. Note: cabin requests must be reciprocated to be processed
