Mike Bowell is a versatile Canadian guitarist, known for his masterful playing as both a performer and a dedicated music educator. Based in the Toronto area, his career encompasses live performance, session work, songwriting, and a long history of teaching. As a performer, Mike has played with a wide array of renowned musicians both in Canada and abroad. He has shared the stage with international artists such as Jim McCarty (The Yardbirds) and Albert Lee (Everly Brothers, Eric Clapton) as well as many of Canada's top artists. As a session musician, Mike has been featured on numerous albums, including a Juno Award-winning album by Jenny Whiteley. He holds an Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music and a Master's Degree in Jazz Performance
